PC Installation & contracting is looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical) who assist to oversee the overall site activities in E&I services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for project design and development.
• Responsible for project coordination and implementation.
• Coordinate with project stake holders; clients, consultants, main-contractors, local authorities, sub-contractors, suppliers and etc.
• Attend meetings & inspections with project stake holders; clients, consultants, main-contractors, local authorities, sub-contractors, suppliers and etc.
• Attend to all customer complaints, resolve reported non-conformance, monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Attend to equipment testing.
• Preparation & submission of project documentations.
• Preparation of construction design, material planning, project schedule and etc.
• Communicate with draftsmen to produce drawings.
• Preparation & submission of monthly progress claims, & VOs.
• Quality control of workmanship.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in site installation in ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION works.
• Willing to travel and willing to work long hours when required.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven, self-motivated, positive working attitude and able to work independently.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduates in relevant discipline are encouraged to apply as well.
• Able to understand:
1. Construction drawings, layout drawings & schematic drawings.
2. P&ID, DCS/PLC drawings.
3. Instrument Data Sheet drawings.
4. Motor Control Centre (MCC) - Motor Control Circuit.
5. Main/Sub Distribution Board.
6. Switchgear and Transformer.
7. Technical specification and Bill of Material (BOM).
8. Installation Method of Statement (MOS) & Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Job Description
• Uses computer assisted design (CAD) equipment to develop designs, create and revise production drawings. (Tender Drawings, Construction Drawings, SHOP Drawings, Coordination Drawings, As-Built Drawings etc.)
• Liaison with engineer for drawing updating & changes.
• Able to understand the drawing specifications and written instructions provide by Engineer and revise drawings as per request.
• Assist in material taking off during tender, construction, and as built drawings.
• Site visit for as-built drawing - Prepare and review the rough sketches and review them along with the project team.
• Uses Building Information Modelling (BIM) equipment to develop designs, create and revise production drawings. (Tender Drawings, Construction Drawings, Shop Drawings, Coordination Drawings, As-Built Drawings etc.)
• Attend coordination meeting with consultant, client, and main contractor etc., (Prepare and complete necessary drawings during meeting)
• Familiar and understand Electrical and Instrumentation installation detail and limitations.
We Would Appreciate It If You
• Possess at least Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Prefer Electrical) or equivalent Required language(s) English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledgeable in Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical Installation as a Drafter or similar roles.
• At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Competency Requirements
• Excellent Skill on AutoCAD (2D)
• Excellent Skill on Autodesk Revit (3D)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (MS Office and MS Excel)
• Familiar with Navisworks Freedom 3D Model
